STEERING WHEEL THRUSTMASTER TS-PC RACER FERRARI 488 CHALLENGE EDITION PC
As part of the celebration of the 70th Ferrari anniversary, Thrustmaster presents the TS-PC RACER Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition racing wheel. TS-PC RACER The combination of advanced technologies designed to ensure better gaming performance and the creation of a more realistic e-racing environment has been fitted with a replica of the steering wheel of a real Ferrari 488 Challenge car on the official Ferrari license.
Realistic steering wheel with a design designed for the competition:
- 9:10 scale replica (32 cm in diameter) steering wheel of a real Ferrari 488 Challenge car on the official license of Ferrari
- Front plate and 2 gearshift paddles made of black brushed electrolytically oxidised metal
- 15 built-in tachometer diodes
- 2 directional controllers (d-pads) with button function + 2 rotary switches with button function + 8 function buttons = a total of 26 programmable functions!
- The steering wheel is hand-trimmed with imported Alcantara material from Italy, such as on the original Ferrari steering wheel
- Thrustmaster TS-PC Throttle and Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 Challenge with metal front plate
- 2 large sequential gearshift paddles mounted on the steering wheel (height 14 cm made entirely of metal Tact switch with a lifetime exceeding 500,000 activations)
Base with force feedback equipped with a high power brushless servo motor The very dynamic 40-watt motor is characterized by a particularly short reaction time, strong effects and a more faithful feedback. The brushless motor in the TS-PC RACER base provides 40 watt power feedback and exceptional speed (dynamic torque) from long curves (mode (STALL) to particularly sharp zigzags (DYNAMIC mode).
Cooling The Motor Cooling Embedded system (submitted patent application) preserves the dynamic characteristics of the new engine, preventing it from overheating and ensuring silent operation. It is characterized by 50% more dynamics, 4 times more stall torque and heat dissipation using a single-phase system.
H.E.A.R.T and F.O.C. Field Oriented Control: H.E.A.R.T technology (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) provides 16-bit resolution (65,536 values), and the new F.O.C. (Field Oriented Control) dynamically optimizes the response to the intense demand for torque. The motor dynamically and efficiently realizes the demands of increasing the torque, providing compensation and preventing power losses.
Power Supply The external TURBO POWER power supply provides constant power as well as very high peak power, providing immediate response to the dynamic requests made by the game. The power supply has a toroidal shape, allowing to achieve optimal energy efficiency at the level of 86% (heat production only 14%), and a non-ribbed structure. Peak power: 400 watts!
