Ethernet Port
Battery Grip BG-R20EP is the first EOS product to support 2.5G Base-T Ethernet, which provides faster communication than the previous 1000Base-T standard. Wired LAN allows for FTP transfer, remote shooting (EOS Utility), and other operations. IPv6 addresses are also supported. Furthermore, IEEE 802.1X is used for authenticated local area networking.
*Wired LAN connectivity is not available when used with EOS R5, EOS R6 Mark II, or EOS R6.

Vertical Shoots
The Battery Grip BG-R20EP replicates the shutter button, multi-controller, and other dials and buttons for vertical shooting. This allows for a more ergonomic approach when holding the camera vertically.
