U.2 is finding its way more and more into professional storage solutions. No surprise, U.2 delivers PCIe (NVMe) data transfer rates of up to 64 Gbit/s into the 2.5"" format and supports HotSwap, which does not apply to its M.2 counterpart.

The dimensions of the converter correspond to a standard 2.5"" SSD with 9.5 mm height and is equally easy to assemble.
